If we use your number of 2010 diluted EPS of $2.5,
which I would argue is way too low, and we put a very
reasonable P/E of 12 on that number (should be much
higher...

You can take the 2Q EPS entirely out of the equation
and you still have a TTM EPS of $2.7/share. At today's
price, that's a P/E of 8.5. And you've subtracted
an entire quarter of earnings. Unfortunately you cannot
look backward and use...

A company with a more healthy balance sheet than EXC
will try to buy NRG. Heh heh, EXC has 10-20 years
horizon to harvest their return from a potential merger
with NRG.. But I don't have that luxury since

EBDITA vs 3 month EBDITA since NRG get RRI retail
in May 1. The interest, amortization...

guidance for 2010 is for EPS of $8.29 per share ($2.2
billion in net income and 265.28 million shares outstanding

Until we see the writedown, it's hard to say what
the impact will be. Could be a big deal or just a
minor blip on the radar. I personally think the market
as a whole is ready for a significant retracement,

Foreign tax is withheld immediately which is around
25% of that 6% (and somebody correct me if I'm
wrong but I THINK you still have to pay taxes on what's
