I can't really answer why the debt is so high.
I do assume they might pay some of that down with
proceeds from the initial offering. Just my guess....but
I'd look for them to report good...

I'm not sure of the current profitability of Java/Solaris,
but Oracle will get huge economies of scale when merging
this into their already huge engineering/support/
sales...

Yes Oracle is partnered with HP....but I doubt they
will attack the same "space" with Sun....maybe
they will even exit the hware business. Sell it directly
to hp! or just milk it for support revenues and..
