Why would SSTI trade higher than $2.85? This isn't
a hostile takeover, SSTI management has already agreed

anyone, it gets retired as treasury stock and reduces

Re: Ex-div day... looks a tad bearish. 
FWIW, when it comes to dividends it's best to just
look at the ex-dividend date. Simply, in order to
get a dividend you need to hold the stock at the end
of the day prior to its ex-dividend date.
