reaction. HYF is a bit more 'junkier' than

That's normal....CEF's are largely held by
retail accounts who react AFTER big market dislocations
like last Thursday. Again....other CEF's went
DOWN on heavy volume....PTY...

No....this is a PIMCO fund, not a Bill Gross fund.
If God Forbid anything happened to Gross, the premium
would dissapate somewhat. We have a 10% premium, give
or take, not a PHK-like 40% premium. THOSE...

in the day on EU-Greece concerns. The employment number
AND the revisions were both in-line. No surprises
...

WHAT ??? The stock is UP $1+ in the last week since
the BARRONS article and the higher volume is evidence
there's been net buying, not selling, on the higher
volume.

called VOLATILITY. It's CALLED risk. If you want
10% long-term returns when CD's and Treasuries
give you less than 3...

Volatility was unprecedented in Sept-Nov of 2008 and
also Jan-March 2009. The VIX went to unheard of levels
in the Fall 2008 though not broken in early-2009 even
as the market went another 15...

Ferspag, the yield on PTY was never in the 7's
as per your earlier post. $1.38 dividend at $16 equates
to 8.6%. You're proably off on PCN, too.
