Re: Leverage and return comparison of MLP&&39;s - III
Good, I missed the debt and the effect of the interest
reduction. Makes me feel better to hold it.

Re: Moon Shot.
Well, I'm glad he's doing better, but in this
market, who isn't?? I'm not saying he's

Re: looks like a good time to buy
It's really tough to buy during what everyone seems
to think are the late stages of one of the biggest

Re: Leverage and return comparison of MLP&&39;s - III
Sure. First, as I noted above, the level of the bank
line itself is not the relevant measurement. Two companies,
each with the same $500M line, one has $350M drawn
and $100M in the bank, and...

Re: RSO hits 25% Are there any high yield bargains left?
Not a thing, but it's a completely different animal
due to the lack of appreciation potential and the
possibility of capital erosion if credit spreads turn
against them. The "agency" REIT's are
really like bond...

Re: RSO hits 25% Are there any high yield bargains left?
No, they can't pay in stock, but it's not like
a debt they have to somehow fund. Cash flow will go
to the public units until the arrearage is paid back.
The private units just have to suck their thumb a

Re: RSO hits 25% Are there any high yield bargains left?
No, I don't think you're correct. Recent capital
raises by several MLP's have not been used to
make distributions, but reduce debt. Costs of production
are not...

Re: Leverage and return comparison of MLP&&39;s - III
Okay, what can we glean from this? First, my factor
produces results that make real world sense to me.
For example, MWE was pretty highly leveraged going

Re: Leverage and return comparison of MLP&&39;s - II
Finally, both EROC and XTEX will have substantially
lower debts when they start to distribute, and I adjusted
as best I could for that, EROC by $167M (the remainder
of management's goal) and XTEX by $120M...

Leverage and return comparison of MLP&&39;s
There are many ways to compare MLP's against each
other, and many things to be taken into account. Raw
numbers do not necessarily tell the story, each MLP
has specific business...

Re: big move!
I've actually been thinking about buying some put

will crater until there's a total market washout,
and they're too expensive. And, by the time there
is a washout...

I don't like to give investment advice, but I'm

Re: At what point do you suck it up and buy?

tranches between $3.25 and $3.56, but then my attention
was turned to XTEX, which is practically in the same
situation. So I...

Re: big move!
Keep. Buy more. It's still very cheap if you're
patient enough to hold until distributions re-start
in 2011 (or NGP finally takes it private). There's
no reason why this isn't trading twice as high,
and...
